How Ember started
In a dorm lounge in 2019. Here’s our story, what we believe and who runs things.
Our story
Twelve people and a guitar
In 2019, Chris was a campus pastor with a Sunday night Bible study that kept running past midnight. Twelve students came, one brought a guitar, and the lounge kept filling up. In 2022 we moved into the old foundry building at the edge of campus. The radiators still clank.
We’re still young and still a bit loud. We think Jesus is worth building a whole life around, and we’re trying to figure out what that looks like on a Monday.
